How quickly can I start selling?

Most businesses are ready in about ten minutes. Join, choose your kind of business, add your first product, service or class on one short page, and connect payouts through Stripe.

Do I need my own website or card machine?

No. You get your own page at gyftup.com/yourname, customers pay by card online, and you also get a free till, a self-service kiosk and QR codes for walk-in customers.

Who pays the platform fee?

Never you. On online orders, gifts, bookings, classes and passes, any platform fee and the card charge are added on top for the customer at checkout. You receive your full price. Walk-in till, kiosk and venue QR orders have no platform fee at all.

How do gift links work?

A customer chooses something from your menu, pays for it and sends a link to a friend by message or email. The friend opens the link and redeems the gift with you, already paid for.

What is a Sponsor me page?

People can add things they would love from your menu to their own Gyftup profile. Friends, family and fans pay for them, and the person comes to you to enjoy it.

Can people in other countries buy from me?

Yes. Customers see businesses in their own country first, and anyone can search another country to send a gift to someone who lives there.

Can I change my picture, details and deals later?

Any time. Your picture, the line about you, your page, your deals and your prices can all be changed in a few taps, and changes show on the Marketplace straight away.
