Add and remove wishlist items

Your wishlist is a list of things you would love. A sponsor pays for one, and the money lands in your wallet so you can buy it.

Before you start​

  • Set your country on your Profile. Wishlist gifts pay into your wallet, and how you withdraw depends on your country.
  • If bank withdrawals are not available in your country yet, the page tells you. Sponsors see the same note.

Add an item​

  1. Open Wishlist from the menu.
  2. Select + Add a wishlist item.
  3. Paste the shop link first. Gyftup reads the picture, name and price for you.
  4. Check the item name and the price. Correct them if needed.
  5. Add a photo if none was found, or to replace the one that was.
  6. Optional. Say what you will offer in return. See Swap a service for a gift.
  7. Select Add to wishlist.
If nothing comes back from the link

Some shops block this. Type the name and price yourself and upload a photo.

Edit an item​

  1. Open Wishlist.
  2. Select Edit item on the item.
  3. Change the name, price, link, photo or return offer.
  4. Select Save changes.

Remove an item​

  1. Open Wishlist.
  2. Select the Delete icon on the item. It looks like a bin.

The item disappears from your public profile straight away. Gifts already paid for are not affected.

Share your wishlist​

  1. Open Wishlist.
  2. Select Share at the top.

That shares your public profile, which shows your wishlist. See Where to share your links.

What happens when someone pays​

  1. The sponsor pays the item price, plus the fee and card charge on top.
  2. The full item price lands in your Wallet.
  3. The gift appears on your Gifts page.
  4. A private chat opens with that sponsor.
  5. You buy the item yourself.
If your wishlist is paused

Your Home page shows Wishlist paused when a proof photo is overdue. See Proof of purchase.
