Withdraw to your bank

Once your payout account is ready, moving your balance to your bank takes one tap.

Withdraw​

  1. Open Wallet.
  2. Check Payout method shows Ready. If not, see Connect your payout account.
  3. Find Withdraw your balance.
  4. Select Withdraw.

Your available balance is sent to the bank account you gave Stripe.

Good to know​

  • The fee. The payment provider charges a small fee to move money to a bank. It comes out of the payout, and Gyftup adds nothing to it.
  • More than one currency. If you hold more than one, each is sent separately and at its own value.
  • Nothing to withdraw yet. The button appears only when you have a balance.

If a withdrawal cannot be confirmed​

Sometimes Stripe does not answer in time. Gyftup then shows a message that it is checking.

Do not try again

Gyftup is checking the withdrawal and will not take the amount twice. Wait for it to finish.

Wishlist gifts that ask for proof​

Withdrawing starts a 7 day clock on any wishlist gift that asks for a proof photo and has none yet. See Proof of purchase.

When withdrawals are switched off​

If the wallet page says withdrawals are not open yet, your balance is safe and stays yours. Nothing is needed from you.
